FSAI to bring industry leaders together to strengthen safety and security
standards in the hospitality sector
Indore: Amid rising fire and safety incidents
across the country, The Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI),
Indore Chapter is hosting the India Fire & Security Yatra (IFSY)
2025 with the theme “Safety & Security in the Hospitality Industry.” The
one-day seminar is set to take place on 8th November at Hotel
Marriott, Indore by bringing together over 200 professionals, including
architects, consultants, MEP engineers, manufacturers, contractors, and hotel
facility experts who are directly involved in regulations, designing, building,
and maintaining fire-safe hospitality infrastructure.
Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Honourable Minister for
Urban Development & Housing, Government of Madhya Pradesh, is expected to
grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and share his insights on advancing fire
and safety standards in the state.
The event, which has been conducted annually
across India since 2016, serves as a key platform to exchange insights,
innovations, and regulations shaping the future of safety in the hospitality
sector.
Mr.Srinivas Valluri, National
President of the Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI), said, “With the
hospitality industry rapidly expanding, ensuring fire safety and integrated
security is no longer an option but a responsibility. Through IFSY, FSAI
continues to bridge knowledge gaps and promote safer design, operation, and
maintenance practices across the country. Our mission is to empower every
stakeholder from architects to facility managers with the knowledge and tools
to make safety an integral part of every project.”
The sessions feature insightful
presentations by Pankaj Dharkar - Chair of Suraksha Index &
Presidential Member, FSAI; Chetan Mhatre, Business Head of Smart
Buildings & Home, Panasonic Life Solutions; Nishant Gupta, Managing
Director, Degree Day; and Srinivas Valluri, Founder Director, Synergy
Infra Consultants & National President, FSAI.
A panel discussion on “Safety and
Security in the Hospitality Industry” will be exploring the best practices and
innovations. The discussion will also be moderated by Pankaj Dharkar, featuring
Kiron Bose (Hilton), Parag Momaya (New Fire Engineers), Ar.
Sanjay Shrivastava (Aadharshila), and Mukesh Acharya (Radisson Blu).
