A
brand initiative to offer thousands of women travelling from Indore to their
families across key intercity routes during the festive period
Indore :
Ahead of Raksha Bandhan, Chartered Bus, as part of a special brand initiative,
will offer women free travel on intercity charter buses from Indore for 48
hours, from 6:00 AM on August 27 to 6:00 AM on August 29, 2026. The initiative
is aimed at making it easier and more affordable for women travelling to meet
their brothers and families during the festive period.
The free travel facility
will be available on major intercity routes connecting Indore with Bhopal,
Sagar, Ujjain, Rajgarh, Dhar, Khargone, Ratlam, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Shajapur,
Guna, Ashoknagar and Biaora, among other destinations. The initiative comes
at a time when intercity passenger movement typically rises significantly
around Raksha Bandhan, with women travelling to their parental homes and
hometowns to celebrate the festival with their families.

in supporting passengers during periods of high festive demand and ensuring
that distance does not become a barrier to celebrating important occasions with
family.”
The initiative highlights
