Bhopal: Following its 5G launches
in major hubs like Indore, Gwalior, Sagar, Satna, Jabalpur and Bhopal, leading
telecom operator Vi is now accelerating its 5G expansion across Madhya Pradesh.
Strengthening its 5G footprint in the state, the telco today announced the
launch of its 5G services in Ujjain, the sacred city on the banks of the
Kshipra River and home to the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga along with 9 more towns
- Omkareshwar, Depalpur, Maheshwar, Bagh Dhar, Hatod, Betma, Khajuraho, Sehore and
Kothri Kalan.
The telecom operator is
progressing with its planned 5G expansion across other regions of the state, in
alignment with 5G device penetration and demand. With this launch, Vi users in
and around these cities and towns can experience enhanced mobile broadband
speeds, lower latency and a more reliable connectivity even in a high-footfall
environment.

Vi 5G is now available in
225 towns and cities across India and is continuously expanding its 5G
footprint. Following its initial commercial launches in major metros like
Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru, Vi is systematically expanding its coverage
across all 17 priority telecom circles where it holds spectrum. By partnering
with global telecom equipment leaders like Ericsson, Nokia and Samsung, the
company has deployed AI-powered Self-Organizing Network (SON) to optimize
network speeds and reliability.
