Google Pixel 10a launched in India with Tensor G4 processor and 48 MP camera

Google has officially launched the Google Pixel 10a in India at a price of ₹49,999 for the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage model. The phone is now available for pre-order online and will go on sale from March 6, 2026.

Google calls the Pixel 10a the most affordable phone in the Pixel 10 series in India. The company aims to bring advanced AI features and a great camera experience to more users for a reasonable price.

Powerful Performance with Tensor G4 Processor

The Pixel 10a runs on the Tensor G4 processor created by Google. This chip is designed for fast everyday use, smooth app performance, and better AI processing for useful features like smart photo tools and voice assistant functions. It also includes a Titan M2 security chip to keep user data safe.

The phone runs Android 16 out of the box and Google promises 7 years of software and security updates, which means the phone will stay up to date for many years.

The Pixel 10a comes with a dual rear camera setup. It has a 48 MP main camera that captures detailed photos and a 13 MP ultra-wide camera for landscape shots or group pictures. For selfies and video calls, it has a 13 MP front camera as well.

Google has also added smart camera tools like Camera Coach and Auto Best Take. These tools help users take better photos by offering guidance and choosing the best shot in group pictures.

Display and Design

The Pixel 10a features a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate for clear, fluid visuals. The screen can get very bright with up to 3000 nits of peak brightness, making it easy to view even in bright sunlight.

The design is modern and durable. The phone has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It is available in four colours: Lavender, Berry, Fog, and Obsidian.

Battery, Charging, and Connectivity

The Pixel 10a is powered by a 5100 mAh battery, which is one of the largest batteries in the Pixel A-series so far. The battery can last a full day of use, and the phone supports 30 W wired charging as well as 10 W wireless charging.

The phone also includes features like in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, 5G support, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and GPS.

Offers and Purchase Details

Pre-orders for the Pixel 10a are already live on Flipkart and the Google India Store. Buyers can get offers such as ₹3,000 cashback on select HDFC Bank cards, up to 24 months no-cost EMI, and a ₹3,000 exchange bonus when trading in an old device.

Google also includes the Pixel 10a in its Pixel Upgrade Program, which allows buyers to pay in easy monthly instalments with zero down payment and upgrade to a newer Pixel device later.

Final Thoughts

The Google Pixel 10a brings a mix of good cameras, strong performance, long software support, and modern design to the Indian market. With its combination of AI photography tools, bright display, and solid battery life, it aims to attract users who want premium Pixel features without paying flagship prices.
