Hyderabad:
On 21 December, millions across the world will meditate together as part of a
global Heartfulness session marking World Meditation Day. Heartfulness is
observing the occasion with the theme One World, One Heart, reflecting
the spirit of collective stillness and shared humanity. The session will be led
by the Guide of Heartfulness and President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, Revered
Daaji, from Kanha Shanti Vanam, the global headquarters of Heartfulness.
The
Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, Hon’ble
Governor of Telangana - Shri Jishnu Dev Varma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of
Telangana - Shri Revath Reddy
will join the gathering at Kanha Shanti Vanam, underscoring the significance of
this collective moment. Thousands are expected to meditate at the venue, while
millions more will participate virtually from different parts of the world.
Speaking
about the initiative, Revered Daaji - Guide of Heartfulness and President of
Shri Ram Chandra Mission said,
“Our work is to make meditation not only easy and accessible but also
sensitize as many people as possible to adopt it as a part of everyday life.
When one person meditates, it brings an enormous positive change not only
within him but also, he radiates that positivity around him. Imagine what would
happen if a million people meditated at one time. It will change the world for
the better. it is evolution in the truest sense.”
Heartfulness
rests on a simple observation: much of our life is shaped by what we feel and
the quiet inspirations that guide us. The practice encourages individuals to
pay attention to that inner space with clarity. When the mind and heart begin
to work in tune, choices feel steadier and life feels more balanced. This is
why Heartfulness focuses on meditating on the heart - a practical way of
listening inward and navigating everyday life with a clearer sense of
direction.
The
session is open to everyone - youth, students, professionals and people from
all walks of life. The free practice will include Pranahuti, a technique
from the Heartfulness lineage that supports a shift into subtler states of
consciousness and a natural sense of calm. Rooted in the teachings of Lalaji
Maharaj and Babuji Maharaj, Heartfulness has grown into a global movement and
continues to reach people across continents under Daaji’s guidance.
Many
practitioners find that regular Heartfulness meditation helps build emotional
steadiness, deepens clarity and supports a more composed response to daily
challenges.
