BTS has announced their 2026–27 world tour, with concerts in many countries, but as usual India is not included this year. This has disappointed millions of Indian ARMY fans, who want to know why their country is being skipped. India has one of the biggest BTS followings, yet it is left out of the official tour.
The tour will start in South Korea and travel across Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia with 79 shows in 34 locations. Cities like Seoul, Tokyo, Las Vegas, London, Paris, and Bangkok are included, but India is missing again.
Big Fanbase in India But No Concert?
BTS has a huge fanbase in India. Indian ARMY fans are very active online, support BTS on streaming platforms, buy merchandise, and create trends. Yet, India is not on the tour map. Fans feel this is unfair because BTS benefits a lot from Indian support, but does not give a live concert in return.
BTS and their agency HYBE have acknowledged Indian fans before, including opening an office in Mumbai and hosting exhibitions in India. But in the world tour announcement, India is missing.
Fans Were Hoping for India
Last year, BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) greeted Indian fans with “Namaste, Indian ARMYs. See you next year” during a live session. Fans thought India might get a concert stop. But no official date or venue was announced, leaving fans confused and disappointed.
Why it’s Unfair
Not including India for a world tour is genuinely unfair. BTS is “taking” from Indian support without giving back. India has a huge population of ARMYs who stream music, buy merchandise, and promote BTS globally. Yet year after year, India is skipped. This makes fans feel overlooked and frustrated.
Could India Be Added Later?
The announced tour dates are the first batch. BTS’ agency HYBE has said more cities might be added later. Fans hope India will be included in the second phase of the tour, possibly in 2027.
Indian ARMYs are sharing their feelings online; some are sad and frustrated, others are hopeful. Many feel BTS should give a clear answer to India, instead of vague hints or greetings.
Final Thoughts
BTS is one of the biggest music groups in the world. When they announce a world tour, fans expect countries with huge support, like India, to be included. Right now, Indian fans feel that BTS enjoys streams, sales, and online love from India, but does not give back with live shows. They want a genuine answer: Why is India still missing from BTS’ world tour?
