Filmmaker Karan Johar has stirred up talk by teasing a possible real-life romance between actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, calling them Bollywood’s “next it couple.” During his appearance on Sania Mirza’s chat show, he named them when asked who could be the next big pair in the industry. But he added a caveat, they aren’t officially together (at least, not that he knows), saying, “they are not yet official … if they are going to be, I don’t know … I haven’t checked.”
The speculation isn’t new, fans have been shipping them ever since their hit film Saiyaara debuted. Their easy chemistry on screen and warm off-screen moments have fueled the dating rumours.
Still, Ahaan Panday has denied that they are in a romantic relationship. In a recent interview, he called Aneet his best friend, saying their bond is about comfort and safety rather than romance.
On the work front, Aneet is set to lead her next film, while Ahaan is preparing for a new action drama.
