Ajay Devgn

Drishyam 3, the next chapter in the popular Drishyam film series, has been officially announced with a release date. The makers confirmed that the movie will hit cinemas on October 2, 2026. This date is special for fans because earlier films in the series highlighted this day as an important moment in the story.

The film stars Ajay Devgn returning as Vijay Salgaonkar, the clever and calm family man who became well-known from the earlier Drishyam movies. Along with Devgn, actors Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Rajat Kapoor are also expected to be part of the cast. The characters who play Vijay’s daughters, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav, are likely returning too.

Drishyam 3 is directed by Abhishek Pathak, who also worked on the second film. The story continues after the events of Drishyam 2, focusing on more mystery and suspense surrounding Vijay and his family’s struggles.

Filming for the movie is already underway in various cities, and producers say the new story will be bigger and more intense than before. However, it is not yet clear whether Akshaye Khanna, who appeared in Drishyam 2, will return for the third part.

The Drishyam franchise began as a remake of the Malayalam film series. The first Hindi Drishyam was released in 2015 and became a hit, followed by Drishyam 2 in 2022. Fans are now waiting eagerly for the next instalment, which promises more twists and emotional drama.
