The Hindi daily Amar Ujala, Mirzapur (Uttar Pradesh), organized a ‘Gaon Mahotsav’ from March 16 to 18, 2026, at Basanti Lal Jalan Ground in Mirzapur. During the event, Dr. Ranjan Singh, Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal, was honored with the ‘Shikshak Shiromani’ award for his outstanding contribution to the field of education.
Dr. Ranjan Singh received this honor from Professor Shobha Gaur, Vice-Chancellor of Maa Vindhyavasini University, and Mr. Raj Kumar Dwivedi, Additional Commissioner (Administration), Mirzapur.
