- New module built on advanced N-type
TOPCon 3.0 cell technology with bifacial double-glass construction; output
reaches up to 745 W under bifacial rating conditions
- Industry-leading 30-year linear power
warranty with only 0.35% annual degradation, backed by Munich RE insurance
support
- Launch marks Saatvik’s decisive move
into next-generation, high-wattage solar modules designed for India’s
utility-scale and commercial solar market
New Delhi : Strengthening
its focus on next-generation solar technology, Saatvik Green Energy Limited,
one of India’s leading integrated solar manufacturers, today unveiled its Quad-Cut
TOPCon 3.0 Dual Glass Bifacial Solar PV Module at the Renewable Energy
India (REI) Expo 2026 in Greater Noida. The module was inaugurated by Mr
Mohammad Rihan, Director General, National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE),
in the presence of Mr Neelesh Garg, Chairman and Managing Director; Mr Manik
Garg, Managing Director; Mr Prashant Mathur, Chief Executive Officer; and Mr
Pushpendra Samadhiya, Chief Revenue Officer, of Saatvik Green Energy
Limited.
The new module delivers a
power output of up to 670 Wp and a maximum module efficiency of 24.8%, built on
N-type TOPCon 3.0 cell architecture in a bifacial double-glass construction.
With bifacial gain, output can reach up to 745 W under standard bifacial rating
conditions (BNPI). The product launch represents Saatvik’s most significant
technology statement to date, a clear commitment to next-generation solar
manufacturing at a time when India’s market is rapidly shifting toward
higher-wattage, higher-efficiency modules.
Commenting on the launch,
Mr. Prashant Mathur, Chief Executive Officer, Saatvik Green Energy Limited,
said: “As India’s solar sector scales up, the focus is shifting towards
higher-efficiency modules that can improve project economics while delivering
reliable, long-term performance. Our Quad-Cut TOPCon 3.0 Dual Glass Bifacial
Module reflects Saatvik’s commitment to advancing solar technology through
products that combine higher power output, optimised system costs and long-term
performance assurance. Backed by advanced N-type TOPCon 3.0 technology and a
robust warranty structure, the module is designed to address the evolving needs
of India’s utility-scale and commercial solar markets. This launch marks
another step in strengthening our technology capabilities and contributing to
the next phase of India’s solar manufacturing journey.”
The module features a
quad-cut (quarter-cut) cell design comprising 264 cells in a 6 × 44
configuration. This design reduces current loss per cell, helping lower
resistive losses, minimise hot-spot risk and extend module life. With an output
of up to 670 Wp, the module enables developers to deploy more capacity with
fewer modules, helping reduce balance-of-system costs associated with mounting
structures, cabling, land use and installation effort per megawatt.
A temperature coefficient of
Pmax of -0.26%/°C enables the module to retain more of its rated output at
higher temperatures, offering a material advantage under Indian field
conditions.
The module is backed by a
12-year product warranty and a 30-year linear power warranty, with first-year
degradation of only 1% and annual degradation of 0.35% thereafter. At the end
of 30 years, the module is warranted to deliver at least 88.85% of its rated
power. The warranty is supported by Munich Re insurance. The module is
manufactured under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and SA 8000 management
systems.
