New
Delhi: Punjab National Bank (PNB), one
of nation’s leading Public Sector Bank, has signed a MoU with Directorate
General Assam Rifle in Shillong. PNB will offer a bouquet of services with
enhanced insurance coverage and other benefits to all the serving personnel and
pensioners of the Assam Rifles under the bank’s flagship scheme “PNB Rakshak
Plus”.
The
MoU was exchanged in presence of Lt General Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM,
Director General Assam Rifles along with Maj General D.S. Bisht, SM, VSM*
(Retd), Chief Defence Banking Advisor & Shri. Sanjeev Bhardwaj, General
Manager from Bank.
The
agreement was signed by Brigadier Sandip Chatterjee, SM, on behalf of DG
Assam Rifles and Mr. Bijender Singh, Zonal Manager, Guwahati.
The
benefits offered are as follows:
1.
Personal Accidental Insurance – Rs 100 lakhs
2.
Air Accidental Insurance – Rs 150 lakhs
3.
Permanent/Partial Disability Coverage – Rs 100 lakhs
4.
Additional Cover of Death during Operations – Rs 10 lakhs
Additionally,
several other benefits like health insurance coverage, concessions in retail
loans, specific schemes for dependents and families of Rakshak Account Holders
will be extended. The bank remains committed to supporting and honouring the
