Gurugram: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India
(HMSI) reported total sales of 5,74,411 units in January 2026.
This includes 5,19,579 units in domestic sales and 54,832 units
in exports.
HMSI registered a 29% year-on-year (YOY) growth compared to January 2025. This performance reflects strong demand across domestic and international markets for HMSI’s product portfolio.
For the Year-to-Date (YTD) period of FY26 (April 2025–January 2026), HMSI recorded total sales of 52,53,205 units, comprising 47,23,979 units sold domestically and 5,29,226 units exported.
HMSI’s Key Highlights of January 2026:
Road
safety: Aligned with its vision of “Safety for Everyone,” HMSI
organised nationwide road safety campaigns across various locations
including Ahmednagar, Alibag, Ballabgarh, Bhubaneswar, Dausa, Guwahati,
Gwalior, Hosapete, Kakinada, Kasaragod, Kurukshetra, Raipur and Surat. These
campaigns encouraged responsible riding and community awareness to create safer
roads for all.
HMSI
also held a Road Safety Convention in Malappuram, Kerala engaging
principals and teachers with the aim of nurturing safe road habits among
children from an early age. Additionally, HMSI carried out a series of
awareness campaign nationwide and launched Jaipur Ideal Road Safety Project
to mark National Road Safety Month.
Network expansion: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India also expanded its presence with new authorized Sdealerships in Erode, Bilaspur, Moradabad and Udhampur. The dealerships are supported by a specially trained sales and service team, ensuring personalized guidance and support, reflecting its commitment to customer-centric mobility solutions. As HMSI moves forward, its focus remains clear towards delivering mobility that empowers customers, prioritizes safety, and contributes to a sustainable future.
