Gurugram: Honda Motorcycle
& Scooter India (HMSI) today introduced the 2026 CB750 Hornet E-Clutch
and XL750 Transalp E-Clutch, further expanding the company’s premium
motorcycle portfolio in India with the addition of Honda’s E-Clutch
technology on its 755cc platform. Alongside these, the Gold Wing is
now available in a new colour option, while the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP
continues as Honda’s flagship supersport offering, strengthening the BigWing
line-up across street naked, adventure touring, luxury touring and
high-performance motorcycling.
On the announcement, Mr. Tsutsumu Otani, President

CB750 Hornet E-Clutch
The CB750 Hornet E-Clutch further enhances Honda’s
middleweight street naked platform with the addition of E-Clutch technology,
bringing added convenience and ease to both everyday and spirited riding.
Powered by a 755cc parallel-twin engine producing 67.5 kW of
power and 75 Nm of torque, it is designed to deliver strong performance
with a responsive and engaging character on city roads as well as winding
routes. The motorcycle comes equipped with Showa 41mm SFF-BP USD front forks,
a 5.0-inch full-colour TFT display with Honda RoadSync connectivity,
multiple riding modes, and dual 296 mm front discs, combining
performance-focused hardware with modern rider technology. Its overall package
continues to reflect the Hornet’s streetfighter appeal while adding greater
comfort and usability through the E-Clutch system.
XL750 Transalp E-Clutch
The XL750 Transalp E-Clutch brings Honda’s E-Clutch
technology to its adventure touring platform, adding greater comfort and
convenience to a motorcycle designed for a wide range of riding conditions.
Also powered by the 755cc parallel-twin engine delivering 67.5 kW
of power and 75 Nm of torque, it combines strong touring performance
with everyday usability and all-round versatility. The motorcycle features a 5.0-inch
TFT display with Honda RoadSync, Showa SFF-CA USD front suspension,
multiple riding modes including Gravel, and a dual LED headlamp
setup, further supporting its adventure-focused character. With its balance of
comfort, capability and rider-friendly technology, the XL750 Transalp E-Clutch
continues to build on Honda’s adventure touring proposition while making the
riding experience more convenient across city, highway and mixed-road
conditions.
Gold Wing
The Gold Wing continues Honda’s luxury touring legacy
and is now offered in a new colour option for 2026. Designed for long-distance
comfort and refinement, it is powered by Honda’s 1833cc liquid-cooled,
horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine, paired with a 7-speed Dual
Clutch Transmission (DCT) with reverse / walking-speed mode for added
convenience during low-speed manoeuvring. It continues to offer premium touring
features such as an electronically adjustable windscreen, wireless Apple
CarPlay and Android Auto, an advanced audio system, and airbag for
enhanced rider safety, reinforcing its role as Honda’s flagship long-distance
touring motorcycle.
CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP
The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP continues as Honda’s
flagship supersport motorcycle, engineered for maximum performance. Powered by
a 1000cc inline four-cylinder engine producing 160 kW of power
and 113 Nm of torque, it features high-end components such as Öhlins
Smart-EC 3.0 suspension, Brembo Stylema R front calipers with 330 mm
dual discs, an Akrapovič titanium exhaust, and a 5.0-inch
full-colour TFT display, underscoring its track-focused performance intent.
