New Delhi : On the occasion of the 135th Ambedkar Jayanti, Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, joined Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at Prerna Sthal within the Parliament House complex to pay floral tributes to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. During the ceremony, he recalled the contributions of the great architect of the Indian Constitution and described his ideals as highly relevant for contemporary India.
Following this, Shri Jayant Chaudhary proceeded to the Central Hall of Parliament, where he offered flowers at the statue of Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar in the dignified presence of the Honorable Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Shri Om Birla. Other elected representatives and dignitaries present on the occasion also honored the life of Baba Saheb and the constitutional values established by him.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Jayant Chaudhary stated that the life of Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar serves as an inspiration for social justice, equality, and empowerment. He remarked that Dr. Ambedkar's thoughts continue to guide the youth of the country toward progress. He further added that the government, while advancing Baba Saheb’s ideals, is working continuously toward building a strong India through inclusive development and skill empowerment.
Later, Shri Jayant Chaudhary, along with Members of Parliament Shri Rajkumar Sangwan and Shri Chandan Chauhan, paid homage to Dr. Ambedkar by offering flowers at his portrait at his official residence.
