AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly condemned the recent blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, calling it a clear act of terrorism. He also dismissed the bomber Dr. Umar un Nabi’s claim that the attack was a form of “suicide bombing for martyrdom.”
“Suicide Is Haram,” Says Owaisi
Owaisi said that Islam does not support suicide in any form. He explained that suicide is strictly forbidden in Islam and killing innocent people is a major sin.
He added that such acts cannot be justified using religion and that the bomber’s statements show a complete misunderstanding of Islamic teachings.
“This Is Terrorism, Nothing Else”
Owaisi stated that the Red Fort incident should not be confused with ideology, sacrifice, or resistance.
According to him, it is simply terrorism, and trying to give it a religious angle is wrong and dangerous.
Owaisi Targets Amit Shah
In his comments, Owaisi also took a direct dig at Home Minister Amit Shah.
He reminded that Amit Shah had recently told Parliament that no Kashmiri youth had joined any terror organisation in the last six months.
Owaisi questioned this claim, asking how a terror module managed to reach Delhi and carry out an attack if that statement was true.
Owaisi demanded that the government take responsibility and give clear answers on how the group was not detected earlier.
Bottom Line
Owaisi has called the attack un-Islamic, illegal, and unpardonable.
He says the bomber’s claims are misleading, and the incident is a serious security failure that the government must answer for.
