Delhi’s air pollution has become very serious again this winter. The city’s air quality is among the worst in the world, and many people are facing health problems like coughing, breathing trouble, and burning eyes.
To help India deal with this problem, China has offered its support. A spokesperson from the Chinese Embassy in India said that China is “ready to share our experience” in fighting air pollution.
Why This Is Important
Delhi’s air becomes dangerous every year because of smoke from burning crops, vehicle pollution, and dust. The situation is now so bad that schools are often closed and people are told to stay indoors.
China’s offer shows that other countries understand how serious the problem is and want to help.
What China Can Share
China faced a similar problem a few years ago in cities like Beijing and Shanghai. But after strict rules and strong action, the air quality improved. China reduced coal use, controlled factory smoke, and introduced cleaner vehicles.
Now, China says it can share what it learned from its own experience to help India plan better steps for Delhi.
What India Needs to Do
Even with China’s help, the problem cannot be solved overnight. Delhi’s pollution comes from many sources, and long-term work is needed.
India can study China’s success, but it must find its own local solutions, such as improving public transport, reducing waste burning, and planting more trees.
