Mumbai : Bank of Baroda, one of India's leading
public sector banks, actively participated in the nationwide 'Nasha Mukt Bharat
Saptah' campaign organized by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment,
Government of India, from June 17 to June 26, 2026, under the theme "Nasha
Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan – Viksit Bharat Ki Pehchaan". The campaign was
conducted in observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit
Trafficking and aimed to create awareness about the harmful effects of substance
abuse and encourage collective action towards a drug-free India.
As part of the
initiative, Bank of Baroda amplified the campaign's message across its digital
and physical touchpoints, including its website, social media platforms and
branch network. Campaign creatives and awareness banners were displayed across
branches to maximize outreach and encourage public participation in the
movement.
The Bank
leveraged its extensive customer and stakeholder network to promote awareness of
the importance of leading a healthy, addiction-free life and supporting the
vision of a progressive and responsible society. Through its participation,
Bank of Baroda reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility and
nation-building initiatives that contribute to the well-being of communities.
