New Delhi:
Indian Bank today approved close to ₹500 Crore MSME Loans in a credit outreach
programme held in New Delhi as a part of its 120th Foundation Day
fortnight celebrations. Sanction Tickets were handed over to 128 beneficiaries
by MD&CEO, Shri Binod Kumar, reaffirming Bank’s commitment towards the
growth of MSMEs aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision of VIKSIT BHARAT.
Indian
Bank is holding a series of mega loan melas, CSR initiatives, digital banking
programmes and customer outreach activities across the country to observe 120th
Foundation Day fortnight celebrations. The occasion is marked by mobilizing
credit proposals worth Rs 1250 Crores, reflecting a strong pipeline for future
business growth.
Furthering
the Bank’s commitment to social responsibility, Indian Bank provided the
wheelchairs and sewing machines to Naina Activity Education Society, Delhi and
Sakshi NGO respectively, promoting mobility assistance, livelihood generation
and community empowerment.
The
programme also witnessed the launch of the Unified MSME Portal, a digital
platform aimed at providing a seamless and integrated banking experience for
MSME customers, reinforcing the Bank's focus on technology-driven service
delivery.
Speaking
on the occasion, Shri Binod Kumar, MD&CEO said, ""As we celebrate 120 years of Indian Bank's legacy, we remain
committed to driving inclusive growth through customer-centric, technology-led
banking. With a clear vision to build a ₹35 lakh crore business by 2032, we
will continue to strengthen financial inclusion, empower MSMEs and businesses,
and deliver seamless digital banking solutions that support India's growth

In the fortnight
long celebrations, Bank will continue to deepen customer engagement, promote
inclusive growth and accelerate digital transformation, reflecting its
commitment to building a financially inclusive and digitally empowered India.
Shri Sujay
Mallik, CGM (Retail Assets & MSME), Shri Ajay Agarwal, FGM Delhi and
Shri Pawan Kumar Baidya, ZM, Delhi Central were also present on the occasion.
